HOKAY so.

Umeda never actually disliked Oscar. Ever. XD OH HE WOULD DENY IT EVEN UNDER TORTURE but he likes Oscar. The same way he likes all the kids at school -- but of course that means that he should be kicked, have things thrown at his head, and constantly mocked/picked-on.

Since coming to camp and interacting more often he's developed even more of a fondness for Oscar, nearing a Mizuki-level (which I think is fair enough given that their interactions have increased to, well, approximately a Mizuki-level). His christmas present probably reflected this, much as Umeda pretended Akiha had just 'left the pictures around' and all. Since then Umeda's moving into what he thinks of vaguely as a mentorly role (though he'd snort if anyone called him on it); the thing with Kio reminds him of his own situation (with Ryouichi, ironically, not with Akiha XD), and he's got a lot of sympathy. Of course, he's not one to beat around the bush so he's somewhat blunt about the situation, too. At the same time, the situation has helped him identify more with Oscar, hence PLOTTING KEEPING PEOPLE IN LINE WITH TAZERS WHICH IS ONE OF OUR BEST INTERACTIONS EVER IMHO.

Anyway. I look forward to the two of them interacting more!
