O-okay.
Ask me what Umeda and Hakkai thinks of your character. If they've only met briefly, mind reminding me of when? If you remember. Which you also might not. Um.
I WILL TRY TO RESPOND COHERENTLY. :D

UMEDA AND AKIHA
For canon stuff: See giant essay I wrote the other day. In short, summarized form, [SINGS] YOU'RE WAY OFF BASE / I WON'T SAY IT / GET OFF MY CASE / I WON'T SAY IT / I WON'T SAY I'M IN LOVE. [/SINGS].
Camp stuff continues to match canon stuff pretty well, which I'm actually kinda proud of us for, you know? One additional complication is that camp is known to randomly and wackily CHANGE PEOPLE, which means Umeda's always on edge that something will push Akiha and him too far. That said, if Akiha ever gave up on him or if Umeda ever confessed under camp influence (the two deciding factors, in a way, being the opposites of their usual stance), Umeda would be one totally broken cookie for a while, though he'd no doubt cover it up with bluster, annoyance, and a tendancy to hit people harder than usual. He'd move on eventually because, well, Umeda lives with things, but right now, Umeda himself is content with how things are -- though (and he'd not admit this easily either) he doesn't like hurting Akiha emotionally.
(...physically, of course, he loves it!)

HAKKAI ON AKIHA
No real feelings, beyond mild (amused/superior) concern that Akiha is in love with "that man". Of course, being Hakkai, this pretty much constitutes a sense of glee. XD But they haven't interacted much.
HAKKAI ON GOJYO
Oh jeeeeeeeez.
Canonically: Love (though it's never named as such; it's identified as need, more, but some of those looks, anyway I digress; whether or not it' romantic love in canon or just LOVE is up to the reader, but there's love there), need, some dependence and a certain amount of independence at the same time, a deep friendship (in the case of a relationship, I think Hakkai would consider the friendship more important overall, but Hakkai just sort of /needs Gojyo around/, as the Kamisama arc showed!). They're used to living together and are comfortable with each other. Gojyo flirts, and Hakkai teases him about it with any variety of edges depending on mood, from soft to sharp, but it's pretty much teasing ("Educational guidance!") . Hakkai is an astronomical freak, and Gojyo refers to that casually ("You know, you say stuff like that with a cool face, but I bet your discomfort level's at 90%."). They both have huge quirks, and both enjoy each other's quirks (though I'd say Gojyo's known to be afraid of Hakkai. He doesn't MIND being afraid of Hakkai, but it happens. I WOULDN'T say Hakkai's afraid of Gojyo, except maybe of Gojyo's lack of formal ties to the ikkou meaning that Gojyo CAN and MIGHT leave). In short, they're an Old Couple. Well-established. KINDA MARRIED YOU MIGHT SAY.
In camp: Again, this maintained pretty well! The additional push of, uh, PASTS WALKING AROUND IN FRONT OF THEM meant that the unspoken parts became spoken, but I at least think the characterization was good on that issue. Hakkai loooooves Gojyo. He also relies on Gojyo deeply to function as a point of sanity. The sexual tension is running high and while Hakkai (as usual!) pretends to be cool with it, he's sort of not. Beyond which, Gojyo's moving to a new cabin has left Hakkai... twitchy and lonely. He can't move into Gojyo's cabin (AS FAR AS HE KNOWS) and he JUST made a home for himself out of the hospital -- though if he were invited into Gojyo's cabin he probably would just abandon his home; we're not shown canonically with Hakkai attaching that much to things, even things he, well, made or likes, even if it's got symbolic value. In the meantime, he's passing time however he can and will probably snap and start slaughtering gorillas soon to drag Gojyo back. XD

Umeda... really really likes Gojyo.
To start with, Gojyo's just his type (emotionally AND physically) AND he is (or was, before Umeda found out about Hakkai etc XD) into casual sex so if nothing else he /understands and wouldn't critize that trend in Umeda/, AND Gojyo's great for buddying around with, AND Gojyo's secretly kinda mushy and needing emotional ...not guidance really, but support/sensitivity at times, and you have a complete and utter button-pushed Umeda who totally likes you. Gojyo hits both his requirements for friendships AND requirements for lust. It's not love -- thank GOD, Umeda's not in love with Gojyo because frankly that'd fuck things up so much for everyone XD -- but it's a great combination of friendship and sexual attraction.
And honestly, he misses Gojyo. THAT SAID, he could make the effort to hang out with Gojyo more often, but Umeda's really not that sort in canon -- he isn't even the one to call RYOUICHI. So he hangs out when the opportunity comes up, makes casual inquiries and ... mostly gets sort of twitchy about Hakkai. Not because he dislikes Hakkai -- more than he dislikes HALF THE WORLD, at any rate. But because Hakkai so obviously dislikes him and Umeda "wouldn't want to interfere in your love-love relationship."
Which is HALF a lie but he wouldn't want to piss Gojyo off in that particular manner. Love is something he kinda respects a bunch, and.
IN SHORT LET'S PLAY MORE :Db
